"Making the world a better place" shouldn't just be heartfelt

Although the Buddha was an ordinary man like us before he became a monk, he lived a rich and luxurious palace life, which is incomparable to the ultra-fast-paced and stressful modern people. But the prince did not indulge in this, and when he saw that every living being was subject to old age, sickness and death, and everything in the world was illusory and unreal, he resolutely put aside everything and sought a way of immortality and immortal awakening and liberation. In contrast, although the last school has now become a monk, the inner troubles and inner qualities have not changed much because of this, and the root cause is that the Dharma does not enter the heart, renunciation, and the heart of seeking the Tao is weak.

The path to enlightenment revealed by the Buddha was not all smooth sailing, and after six years of extremely arduous asceticism that challenged the limits of the body, the Buddha discovered that this was not the right path to enlightenment. The Buddha thus gave up his asceticism and went on to explore, discovering that if he continued to deepen on the basis of a certain amount of meditation, he would find the path to liberation. Do you think about what you are busy with every day that is related to liberation? Does every thought dwell on the way?

When the Buddha subdued the inner demon, the so-called demon king Bo Xun could no longer interfere with the Buddha. It can be seen that the external environment is not the key to affecting our hearts, so there is no reason to make excuses for relaxation and slackness. If you don't work hard from your heart, even if you are in heaven, you will eventually be blessed one day. Not only does the Buddha need to subdue demons to become enlightened, but as ordinary people, we need to pass the test and defeat the demon army in order to continue to move forward on the path of cultivation.

The Buddha used his experience of enlightenment to tell us that every sentient being has Buddha nature and can become a Buddha and become a patriarch. This not only gives us strong encouragement and indelible hope in the endless cycle of samsara, but also establishes the confidence to firmly and fearlessly follow in the footsteps of the Buddha and the ancient sages while being endlessly grateful.
