People have this habit of being extreme and narrow-minded, and if there is no practice, this habit will often come into play.

If you want to learn from a gentleman and a sage, then when you are narrow-minded and extreme, you must learn to be generous. It should be vast, like a void, able to contain everything.

The sea is vast precisely because it does not reject all trickles. The earth, because it contains all impurities, grows all things.

Therefore, we need to practice and deal with our troubles when they arise, so as to show our magnanimity of mind.

Confucius's personality is characterized by gentleness, courtesy, and frugality, which is the character trait of a sage, and it is necessary to be gentle. The Analects talks about the differences between a gentleman and a villain, if we use this mirror to look at ourselves, use this ruler to measure ourselves, we will all be ashamed, we are villains in most cases, so we have to practice.

When we think of anger, we want to press the other person down and step on one foot...... When we are so angry, we need to learn to be mild.

Even if others slander themselves and do things that are sorry for themselves, they must repay their debts and think: I am sure that I have scolded and slandered him in my life, why does he slander me without slandering others? There is no such thing as a thing that does not happen for no reason.

We should always think like this, practice like this, and slowly deal with our disturbing habits.
