Follow the place where you are, if all sentient beings plant seeds in deserted fields or in mature fields, if you are busy doing business.Someone who is not engaged in business, and who can sincerely recite and worship Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Mahasattva, is this good man, and his merits, wonderful power, can bring all the fruits to be abundant.So, this good man has experienced countless great kalpas and made great efforts and solid vows by the Buddha and World Honored One. From this vow, in order to mature all sentient beings, he always holds all the earth, always holds all seeds, and always allows all sentient beings to enjoy them at will.This good man is so powerful that all plants, trees, roots, buds, stems, branches, leaves, flowers and fruits on the earth will grow, and the seedlings of medicine, grain, flowers and fruits will grow lushly, mature and moist, fragrant, soft and beautiful.
This section talks about people who grow crops and hope that the crops they grow will grow well.Or if you want to plant flowers and want the bonsai in the house to grow better; just recite the flower pot with a thought of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and turn around it.The bonsai that is about to die, especially the Clivia and Orchid we like, are almost dead. We will worship and confess after we go back.If you pray, it will grow again.But if the effect of such a small thing is regarded as a holy experience or a holy fruit, it would be bad.When we study Buddhism and seek Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, we must practice and repent naturally.You no longer think about these things, but once you do your mind, the flowers and plants will be lush and incredible.
Once I asked the Tibetan Lama teacher, and I said: The crops in Tibet are growing so badly. Our masters of practice have such merits. Looking for Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to help grow longer, why is it just not growing well? He said: No! I said: Why not? He said: The first one is not sincere, and the second one is that the karma has been achieved.If the karma has been achieved, to change the karma, we must achieve the third sincere heart and deep heart that we talk about.Now that you have not reached the sincere heart, you cannot be called a name with sincerity; there are many levels of sincere heart, and you can achieve any effect with the sincere heart of the level you reach.Just like a mother who really misses her son, she thinks it earnestly and truly reaches her sincerity. No matter how far away a thousand miles apart, her son will feel that he will come back soon.
There is such a thing in our hometown.There is a woman who only has one only son. She misses her son. Someone told her this method: You stand on the door, climbing the crossbar with one hand and holding the rice pudding with the other.For the meal, try your best to knock on the horizontal bark. Your son will come back in a few days.The old lady knocked on her every day, and her son really came back in less than a dozen days.What's the reason? Her son was uneasy and thought that something was going to happen to his family.It's okay to come back, but my mother misses him.This is an example of sincere heart.
Another sincere example is that a mother missed her son, and she missed him very much, but this son was very unfilial to his mother.But my mother loves him and is very attentive.Once, her son met a group of people who wanted to go to Putuo Mountain, and he also wanted to go to the mountain.Some people say: If you are so unfilial, your trip to the mountain will affect us.He said: No, I changed! He followed everyone to the mountain.When we arrived at Putuo Mountain, the iron lotus appeared on the sea. The sea was full of iron lotus. The boat could not move, so everyone sincerely recited the iron lotus, and he followed suit.He saw Guanyin Bodhisattva saying to him: Don’t go to me, go home.As soon as you go home, the iron lotus will disappear. Go back! He said: I am here to pay homage to the Bodhisattva.Guanyin Bodhisattva said: When you go back, I am the one who opened the door for you.
So he went back.The iron lotus also disappeared, so everyone drove the boat to continue to move towards Putuo Mountain. Before he could achieve his goal, he went home. When he walked home, it was already twelve o'clock at night. The old mother was already asleep. He knocked on the door. When the mother heard her son's voice, she was surprised and happy. She hurried to open the door at all costs. As a result, she wore a cotton jacket and shoes to open the door for him.When the son thought of what the Bodhisattva said, it turned out that his mother was Guanyin Bodhisattva.Thinking of all the unfilial piety in the past, he felt regretful, so he confessed to his mother.From then on, he became a filial son.It is very important to be sincere.
The above sincere hearts are small hearts, not the kind we want to express.We must make a vow to become a Buddha and save sentient beings. Remember, every one of us fellow practitioners should make a vow to become a Buddha and save sentient beings. This is our ultimate wish.Regardless of the "Pure Purity of Practice" or the "Samantabhadra Practice and Vows".What we have made is that we wish to save sentient beings, to become Buddhas, and to make all sentient beings become Buddhas.When reciting these Prajna scriptures, it is related to us, seeking Prajna wisdom.In addition to this, even pure precepts and pure faith are needed.But there is no need to ask for daily necessities, the more you worry, the less you are, the more pure you are.Therefore, the passage of the sutra of seeds and desert fields refers to our Prajna, which can be explained in this way.
So why? Why does Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva have so much power? The Buddha also praised Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.This good man refers to what Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said.There have been countless great disasters, which refer to the time that has passed by a very long time, which is a large number of time.The Buddha's World-Honored One's place that cannot be calculated by numbers.The Buddha and the World Honored One are all Buddhas.The great diligence and solid vow he made was not only diligent, but also solid, and would never waver; he would never waver and would definitely achieve his goal.
Check whether our wish has been shaken? When you are suffering and encountering unpleasant situations, when you have a hurdle or a hurdle in chanting scriptures, do you still recite it? If you have a hurdle in repentance, do you still worship it? If you have a hurdle in repentance, do you still worship it? These small things cannot be overcome, let alone becoming a Buddha? Therefore, you must firmly vow.If you encounter any setbacks and difficulties, once you make a wish, don’t be changed by these external realms, and you must persist without interruption.After receiving the Three Refuges and Five Precepts and receiving the refuge, the master who passed on the generation told you that you should recite the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. It would be better if you could recite it a few more times a day. If you really don’t have time to recite it, you can recite it at least ten times a day. Have you done it? Even if you can’t do such a vow, how can you eliminate disasters and difficulties? Since it is impossible to avoid disasters in front of you, let alone avoid disasters from countless kalpas, eliminate disasters, achieve Prajna wisdom, and even become a Buddha.
If we say that the current state will bring losses to us but are very beneficial to others, are we willing to suffer losses and help others? Everyone can know and know everything about their own hearts.Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's vow to mature sentient beings, he always keeps the earth, not just our Saha world.As mentioned before, as he is, he will benefit wherever he is, wherever he is; to make all the earth nourish all living beings, this is the function of the earth to cover us. If the earth does not bear us, we will not be able to survive.If everything is not grown on the earth, we cannot survive.If all the gasoline under the earth is cut off now, if electricity is not generated, how can we live? Especially in developed countries, if there is no electricity, we can't even eat.Now winter is coming, the weather is very cold. If there is no electricity, how will the heating operate? It will freeze you.
Always hold all the earth, the earth refers to the mind of all sentient beings; to give all sentient beings the seeds that become Buddhas, always keep all the seeds.In the world, it is all the seeds hidden on the earth.All food is fertile, and what fundes our lives comes from the earth.Now let’s look at the glasses we wear, clothes we wear, and even tables, chairs, and benches. Which one did not come out of the ground? Which one did not grow from the ground? Therefore, the vow made by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is to hold all the earth and hold all seeds, so that all sentient beings can enjoy it at will and satisfy the wishes of sentient beings.
The power of this good man can make the earth, the roots, buds, stems, branches, leaves, flowers and fruits grow, and even the seedlings of medicine, grain, flowers and fruits lush, mature, moist, fragrant, soft and beautiful, and mature all living beings wherever they are.
