Like a Buddhist son.See all sick people.Always offer.It's no different from Buddha.In the eight blessings.Good luck in seeing a doctor.It is the first blessing field.If your parents, monks and disciples are sick.All the senses do not have.Hundreds of diseases and distress.All are offered to the servants.But the Bodhisattva does not look at it with hatred.Even in the wilderness of Sengfang City, the mountains and forests.Those who are not relieved when they are sick.Convicted of a light defilement.

When you encounter a sick person, you don’t go to see him or take care of him, and you will lose your bodhicitta.Those who receive the Bodhisattva precepts, look at all sick people and “rely offer offerings” ﹕Give him water and medicine."It's no different than Buddha" ﹕Respect the patient should be the same as respecting the Buddha.Because "Among the eight blessing fields, the best field of blessings is the first field of blessings." ﹕In the eight blessing fields, this blessing field of medical treatment includes respect and sad fields.It is a kind of compassion for the patient, which is a field of sorrow.If the patient is a person among the Three Jewels, this is a respectful field, so both merits are available.

「If your parents, monks and disciples are sick” ﹕Either the parents are sick, or the master, the monks, or the disciples are sick."If all the senses do not have them, there will be hundreds of diseases and sufferings." ﹕This person can't see his eyes or hear his ears, which makes him even more distressed. He has troubled such a hundred diseases."Everyone is offering to the misunderstanding": This misunderstanding should be recited ㄔㄞ(Chai-1, recover from illness ),It means to recover from illness, and it should be offered to the servants."Buddhas do not look at it with hatred." ﹕The Bodhisattva, with hatred, did not look at him and said: It doesn’t matter if that person dies!"Even the Monk's Town" ﹕Even if you are sick and do not help others, you will commit a minor crime of defilement when you live in the houses where the monks live, in towns, in empty places, in mountains and forests, or on the roads.

Bafutian: (one )Buddha, (two )saint, (three )Monk, (Four )Acharya, (five )monk, (six )father, (seven )mother, (eight )patient.The first seven are Jingtian;The first seven types are Jingtian.Illness and sorrow and respect, so I say the first;This disease is also a kind of sad field. Seeing the patient’s distress, a kind of compassion is a kind of sad field.This field is like the ground. You have to plant it in order to grow all kinds of things.We are respectful to the first seven kinds of life and can bring blessings;If you feel sad about illness, you will be even more blessed.Therefore, the best field of blessings when seeing a doctor is the first field of blessings.

With fate: This is to cover karma.Four causes sin.

When the Buddha was alive, there was a brave prince.When you are born in great wealth, you will spend your days and drink wine every day, be licentious, indulge in your will, and do whatever you want.In samadhi, the Buddha observed that the prince would die seven days later, and then fell into the evil path.The Buddha felt compassionate, so he sent Venerable Ananda to save him from his resignation and advised him to become a monk to save the disaster.

After hearing the purpose of Venerable Ananda, the prince said, "Since there are seven days left, let me play for six more days.On the seventh day, I will definitely go to the Buddha's place to become a monk.Please report back to the World Honored One.If he allows, there is no need to come again;If he doesn't allow it, you can tell me again."Ven. Ananda repays the Buddha.The Buddha said, "This is the prince's unique habits, let's do it!"

Six days later, on the seventh day, the prince indeed became a monk.So he slandered in front of the Buddha, put on a cassock, and received the full precepts.At this time, he was extremely dedicated and pious in keeping his guards and had no distractions.Because I know that one day I am on earth, I will fall into hell after sacrificing my life.This is like a person crossing a single-plank bridge, and if you are not careful, you will fall into the river. Why not be trembling and do your best to do your best?The prince’s merits of keeping the precepts for the day and night have achieved incredible rewards.The next day, the prince passed away.His relatives and friends all felt sorry and said, "If you live for a few more years due to the merits of becoming a monk, wouldn't it be great?But becoming a monk still can’t help but die!"At this time, the Buddha said, "From the outside, although becoming a monk does not have much impact, it is not the case.The merits of becoming a monk and keeping precepts on this day will not only help the prince to escape the retribution of falling into hell, but also be reborn in the Trayastrimsa Heaven.When you enjoy all the blessings of Trayastrimsa every day, you will be reborn in the world and you will definitely become a monk and practice Taoism.The rewards on earth are over, and they are reborn in the Trayastrimsa Heaven.Such people traveled for twenty kalpas and eventually became the Arhat fruit."

From this case, the merits of keeping precepts a day and night can even plant the seeds of becoming an Arhat, let alone keeping precepts at all times and remembering them here?The chance of liberation is greater.

The Buddha also ordered monks to eat one meal a day and not eat after noon. Did the Buddha deliberately cause trouble for his disciples?Even if you eat 100 meals a day, you will not commit any crime. Why do you give me this precept to make a monk?This is because the Buddha is compassionate and helps monks increase their blessings.The precepts say that one day, one day, there are six billion tracts of grain. (One saying: Sixty-one stones ㄉㄢˋgrain )Merits of (Sixty-one stones, depending on the bucket in the north, one bucket is forty kilograms, and one stone is forty kilograms. ),Wouldn’t the merits be greater if you keep your noon every day?

As for visiting the patient, I think of a verse that I can give you as an encouragement.One time, the Zen master was lying in bed and was resting in the Nirvana Hall of a certain temple.It was the middle of winter, the cold wind was blowing, and the cold air was rising. The Zen master said this verse with emotion. ﹕

I can really hurt my old thoughts and thoughts, and I have been alone in the Nirvana Hall for many years.There is no passerby window in the door, and there is no paper, and the furnace has cold gray mat and frost.Only after illness can you realize that your body is suffering, and when you are healthy, you are often busy with others.The old monk has his own way of peace of mind, and it’s okay to fight the eight bitterness!

It is really sad to talk about the matters of the visiting old fellow Taoists.Even if you lie alone in the Nirvana Hall for many years, you can't get up.There were no passers-by in front of the door, and no one came;There was no paper in the window, and the window was exposed.The stove does not burn fire, it only has the cold ash;Because the moisture comes into the house, there is frost on the mat.When I am sick, I realize that this body is suffering.However, when people are healthy, they are mostly busy with their bodies, eating and drinking for them every day, and finally they are still sick, and they are still suffering. If they have no body, there will be no suffering.The old monk has his own way of peace of mind, and he is not afraid of the eight sufferings and all sufferings come.

It is true that Zen masters may have realized the truth of impermanence in life under the pressure of suffering and persecution, and have achieved some liberation.Therefore, it is said: The old monk has his own way of resting his mind.What is the method of peace of mind?It is what I just mentioned.If you can choose the method of facing oneself, go deep into one and stop all thoughts with one thought, you can realize freedom.Because evil thoughts and good mindfulness cannot be possessed at the same time.When evil arises, the truth will be hidden, and when good appears and evil will be destroyed.When practicing, be mindful, focus on one’s mind, and focus on one’s mind. How can delusions arise?How can evil demons be called a favor?Therefore, all Buddhist methods are only used to teach people to concentrate on their minds, to fight poison with poison, and to stop delusions.For example, Tiantai and Xianshou Sects expounded the method of meditation and contemplation;Zen ginseng koans are all the same, and they are different in different ways. They are the best way to escape from life and death.
