Reciting the Ksitigarbha Sutra to save ghosts

A mute wife who lives in Shuangtan Village, Sanyi Township died unfortunately after giving birth.The poor family simply asked three Taoist priests to recite scriptures and do their merits, but because the Taoist priests received a large ritual from a wealthy family, they invited a senior brother and the three of us to recite scriptures together.In a simple venue, we had to use it and simply arrange Buddha statues. We thought that the deceased had a poor family during his lifetime and had a bad birth, so he practiced less in his previous life.Therefore, I recite Samadhi Water Repentance for the Dead.When the sutras were reciting at 10 o'clock in the evening, the Taoist priest came back from Fu Sang's house and said, "Thank you all for your hard work. After reciting the sutras, you can go back first. I'll give you a repentance for you later."After hearing the Taoist priest's intention, since he didn't want us to confess, it would be fine if we waited any longer, so we bid farewell and returned home. Later, the Taoist priests didn't know what they did.
After returning home, I kept thinking about this ritual that it seemed that it was not very complete. I spent a day trying to save the dead souls, but I did not hand over the sutra to the deceased. Although I dedicated it to the dead in the repentance, I always thought that this last thing had not been perfected.I was thinking about it for two days and felt a little ashamed.
From the day after I came back from chanting the scriptures, I felt dizzy and thought I didn’t catch a cold. How could I feel dizzy? After two days, I still did this. The more I thought about it, the more I became, the more I was wrong. Something might be wrong.Therefore, when looking back at the mute's home, the merit may be lacking, and the deceased cannot suffer.So in front of the statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, he recited the "Ksitigarbha Sutra" with all his heart (Or three, now I forgot )。Dedicated to the mute girl, she was born in the Pure Land early, and was worried afterwards, so she asked for instructions on her dream.I had a dream that night, and I was very clear that I dreamed of a temple, which was very large and solemn. A nun stood on the steps. When I walked up the steps, I saluted me, which scared me and quickly helped her up. It was absolutely impossible.But she told me that with the power of reciting the Ksitigarbha Sutra, you will be reincarnated as a human being, and you will have a connection with the Buddha, and you will become a monk and receive precepts, and you will surely attain Bodhi.I was very surprised when I heard this. A poor and humble woman, who inherited the power of a sutra, was reincarnated as a human being. She entered Buddhism and received all the precepts. She could achieve the right result in the future, but the Dharma was boundless.
Dear friends, Buddhism dwells in the world, never leaves the world's awakening, and seeking Bodhi is like seeking the horns of rabbits.Buddhism appears in the world, with the purpose of setting it for sentient beings. Of course, there is no Buddhism to be spoken of. Therefore, in our lives, we walk, stand, sit and lie down, and we will never leave Buddhism everywhere, but if our behavior is not correct, it will violate Buddhism.To save sentient beings, you must develop the Bodhicitta and develop the Bodhicitta. Only with great vows can you save people.In real society, everyone is busy with the five desires, but they don’t know that the hundred years pass by in an instant, and this body turns into ashes after all, and the illusion body is completely fragrant and clean, breaking the painted bottle and returning.Those who have good fortune and financial resources will give more and accumulate more blessings; those who can recite scriptures will have more intentions to eliminate disasters and repent and save the dead; those who can recite the Buddha's name will have more thoughts to chant the Buddha's name and seek one's mind; those who can preach the Dharma and benefit sentient beings; those who are good at literature will have more wisdom in the collection of scriptures like the sea.In this way, society is willing to enter Datong, Buddhism prosper, people are happy, and the country is prosperous and the people are at peace.We Buddhists, let’s work together!
