Seeing this scene, he taught him to chant "Amitabha" and helped him plant the seeds of cause and condition for learning Buddhism.

When later generations recorded this incident, they said that after the butcher Zhang Shanhe recited the Buddha's name a few times, the cows disappeared, Namo Amitabha came, and he followed the Buddha.

Let’s not talk about whether the butcher Zhang Shanhe has planted a special cause and condition for rebirth because he has been studying Buddhism in his previous lives. Just say that for all ordinary people, death is the last thing to face. The dark or bright future depends on his own cause and effect.Can anyone be reborn in the Pure Land by chanting "Namo Amitabha" at the time of death?

Many people think that chanting Buddha's name means that you will be reborn with just one thought, and you don't need to learn any Dharma.It would be too wrong if you have such an idea!Namo Amitabha Buddha said that if you recite the Buddha's name ten times a day, and you will be calm at the end of your life, and you will bring those who recite the Buddha's name to the Pure Land.You should know that chanting Buddha’s name means that you can only be reborn in the Pure Land without any confusion, but can you do it?What does "one mind without chaos" mean? In "The Iron Book of the Holy Monk", the old Dharma King Dorje Losang said: "What does "one mind without chaos" mean? Simply put, chanting the name of "Namo Amitabha" means the image of a Buddha, chanting two sentences is still the image of a Buddha, and chanting three sentences is also the image of a Buddha, instead of chanting one sentence, chanting two sentences, chanting three sentences, chanting three sentences, chanting three sentences, and chanting three Buddhas, then the mind is confused.In short, I tell you that you are chanting Buddha's namehourWhen the image of Buddha remains unmoving, the light is brilliant in your heart.hourWait for the Buddha to guide you. 《The Amitabha Sutra records that "If a good man and a good woman hear Amitabha Buddha and hold the name of Amitabha Buddha, if one day, two days, three days... if seven days, one mind will remain undisturbed, when the person dies, Amitabha Buddha and all the saints will be present.When a person’s mind is not confused, he will be reborn in the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha."At the time of death, the four elements of earth, water, fire and wind are broken down, the six senses of spiritual consciousness are scattered, and the eight sufferings are unbearable, just like a turtle breaking out of its shell, in great pain, struggling and moaning, can the heart still calm down!Can you remain unmoved?It’s not that the Buddha is not merciful, but that you cannot be able to be single-minded and undisciplined!Now you can try it. What does it feel like to pinch your nose and press it to your mouth for two minutes?The butcher Zhang Shanhe did not study Buddhism and practiced, and was plagued by karma. He shouted in pain when he was dying, which shows that he would not be able to remain undistracted. How could he be reborn in the Pure Land!If the preaching saying can be reborn in the Western Paradise by just chanting the Buddha's name, then why should Shakyamuni Buddha talk about practice everywhere and say that good causes should be planted and good results?If you just recite Amitabha Buddha and you can be reborn in the Pure Land, what other practices do you need to practice?Anyway, you can be reborn by just chanting the Buddha's name. Why bother to practice hard?Sakyamuni Buddha would not formulate so many precepts, because it is very simple to recite ten times and you will be reborn?Why do you need to say so much?Talk about so many methods of practice?!

In "What is Practice", Namo Qiang Buddha said, "...In the Buddha's truth, cause and effect are not ignorant.Cause and effect cannot be eliminated. It is said that extermination is the view of vanishing, so it is only possible to build a wall of good deeds, just like building a retaining wall to play a role in separation.By studying Buddhism and practicing Buddhism, you can finally become a Buddha and be completely free from the karma of causal karma of reincarnation...."

Zhang Shan and the butcher kill countless lives on weekdays, and are plagued by black karma. If there is no special cause and effect, then you can be reborn in the Pure Land by just chanting a few times at the time of death. Where is the cause and effect?It was just that the monk who passed by helped him plant the cause of learning Buddhism.It also means that you should study Buddhism as early as possible. Don’t wait until the evil consequences are ripe before you wake up like a dream. Then it will be too late.

So is there a way that can achieve success in this life without going through three great kalpas?Of course there is!The blessings and conditions of our human beings have matured, and the true Buddha has come to this world again!We are in the same era as the Buddha. The contemporary Buddha personally preached us, using the language of our era and in a simple and easy-to-understand way.There are thousands of Dharma sounds that preach the Dharma, and thousands of Dharma sounds are thousands of Buddhist scriptures!The Buddha made a vow not to accept offerings, but only selflessly benefit sentient beings. If we do not follow the teachings carefully, we will achieve liberation. How can we be worthy of the Buddha's great compassion and salvation?We have a human body for thousands of kalpas and thousands of lives. Don’t miss it again. If you miss it, there will be no chance. According to the prophecy of the Great Sun Tathagata, the fourth generation of Dorje Chang Buddha will come to this world again in five thousand years.Think about it if we don’t seize this opportunity that has been born through disasters, will we still have a chance?As the saying goes, "This body is not saved in this life, and when will it be saved in this body?"

In this life, we only need to implement the supreme and extraordinary Dharma sounds of Inamo Kwan Buddha and the "Mahashi Seal of the Extreme Sacred Liberation", "Talking about the Truth of the Heart Sutra", "What is Practice", "The Sutra of the Enlightenment", etc., and then combine it with the practice of the Dharma, whether it is chanting the Buddha's name, meditation, meditation, or other methods, as long as we practice according to the Dharma, we will definitely be able to achieve liberation in this life!Seize the opportunity to practice now!
